New Kent Farmers Market is Now Open!

Posted on June 7, 2011

The New Kent County Farmer's Market opened in May 2011, in the parking lot of New Kent Commerce Center, located just opposite the main entrance by Brickshire, slightly to the left towards I 64.

As an incentive for vendors to bring their wares to the newest farmers market in Virginia, the promoters are waiving all application fees and weekly fees through the end of June. What a great opportunity, especially for vendors just getting started.

The policy of the New Kent Market will be to ensure that competition among similar type vendors will be kept, whenever possible, to a minimum to ensure that all participating vendors are able to sell in volume and to be profitable.

All products must be grown, made or produced by the vendor in Virginia. We want to give the home-based small business person a place to vend their products.
